Recently, my friends from Northern California visited me – and I took them on a SoCal adventure!
One of the many things Southern California is known for is its cheap, but delicious food – so we went on a lot of different food excursions. I picked them up at Union Stations in Los Angeles and we started the night by feasting on $10 all you can eat Korean BBQ. There were various items to order from such as beef brisket, pork belly, steamed egg, side dishes, and much more.

The next morning, I took them to Huntington Beach where we were able to walk along the pier and even watch a paddle boarding contest. After that, we decided to go to The District to shop. Later, we decided to go to Creamistry since they never had nitrogen-injected ice-cream.

The next day, we decided to go to Round One Entertainment, where there are various activities to do in there such as bowling, karaoke, photo booths, claw machines, and arcade games. We played a lot of games such as Dance Dance revolution, a drum game where you play against your opponent to see who can get the most beats correct, and racing games. At the end of the day, we decided to do what the SoCal people are known for – and that was to go grab Banzai Bowls and then eat them while watching the sunset at Newport Beach.

On their last day in SoCal, we went to a famous café that is pretty well known since a lot of YouTube stars go there – “Urth Café.” The latté art there is really cool and they have really unique cheesecakes. I got a creme brulee cheesecake, Japanese tea latté, and grilled cilantro chicken with pesto sandwich.

Overall, we had an amazing trip where we were able to squeeze so many places in four shorts days! At least our stomachs were satisfied! :)
